Meet the team....

Jason and Michelle Chewter began the business together in 2013 and its steadily grown to become a recognised name across South Yorkshire for offering outstanding service and value to its many customers.

Jason, the Lead Engineer, has over 18 years’ experience in the trade and is manufacturer trained. He is the ultimate professional. He knows exactly when a repair is the best way forward and when it would simply be an uneconomical ‘sticking plaster’.

We will always provide you with an estimate for the repairs and we always give you our honest opinion. All parts fitted are new and to back up the standard and quality of our workmanship, every job is guaranteed for 12 months both for parts and labour.

Michelle is the first point of contact for our customers and her many years in customer service mean that she’s ready to deal with a whole different range of enquiries. This isn’t her only role, behind the scenes Michelle keeps the business on track with invoicing, dealing with purchase and sales ledgers, dealing with suppliers, keeping social media up to date... the lost never ends, Michelle is the vital cog that keeps us organised and efficient!

With the business growing, and an ever increasing demand for repairs, Jack joined us in September 2020 as a full-time Field Service Engineer. Jack is a qualified technician and after spending a little time learning how to do things ‘ the South Yorkshire Domestics way’ Jack now has his own van and is already proving to be an asset to us.

Jack brings a wealth of knowledge to us, and with his calm approach and his kind attitude, along with great problem solving skills, we are pleased to have him on board! We have already received many comments of praise from customers. Keep it up Jack!

How it Works

When you contact us, we will arrange a convenient appointment to visit you. We will give you a time-slot and call when we are on our way, so you know exactly when to expect us.

Before undertaking any work, we will give you an estimate and explain how we would recommend proceeding.

Any parts used in the repair will be new. We never use second-hand parts.

All parts and labour are guaranteed by us for 12 months.

Should your appliance be beyond repair, or you decide not to go ahead with our estimate, we will simply charge you our small diagnosis fee to cover our time.

Payments for repairs are due upon completion. To make life easy, we have a number of payment methods, cash, payment by card (we have a mobile card machine connected to WorldPay) or you can pay us by BACS via online banking at the time of visit.
